Due to the COVID-19 virus, all guild activities are cancelled for April and early May.
The CDC is recommending rescheduling any meeting with +50 estimated attendees and our meeting place is temporarily closed, so there will be NO April meeting. The Dresden Neighborhood Workshop is also cancelled. We are in the process of issuing refunds. We will try to reschedule next fall and those that are currently signed up for the workshop will be offered the first chance at the rescheduled class.
The April 14 Comfort Quilts meeting has also been cancelled. At this time, some of the extracurricular happenings, such as gatherings at the Senior Center, are on hold or have changed time and/or location. Please contact Kim Hemphill for more details.
The spring banquet on May 5 has also been cancelled. We hope to combine the banquet fun and April business (elections, budget, awards, etc.) with the picnic in July. Banquet fees that have already been paid will be returned to you.
Obviously, the safety and health of our members is of paramount importance and our community will always be available for support and help. Please stay in touch with each other and stay informed, as we try to keep you current about the guild, the many outreach programs we support, and each other. Stay safe, stay healthy and happy quilting!
We are a friendly, energetic, diverse group of quilters whose talents range from beginners to expert, prize-winning quilters. The common threads that connect us are creativity, an eagerness to learn new skills and a willingness to share knowledge, ideas, tips and techniques with each other.
Interested in joining our group? Come visit one of our meetings. We'd love to meet you!
