Workshops are reserved for Southport Quilt Guild Members each new fiscal year, from September through the end of May. Non-members may register for workshops beginning 60 days prior to the date of the workshop, providing there is an opening.
No seat in any workshop is reserved until payment has been received.
If you need to cancel your attendance at a workshop, you will receive a refund only if your spot can be filled.
Please arrive early enough to be set up before the start of the workshop. Doors will open at 8:30 am. Class begins at 9:00 am unless otherwise specified.
Be prepared. This includes having all items on the supply list, sewing machine in good working order, and basic sewing supplies.
Come ready to learn and be attentive. Questions during class should be addressed to the instructor. Avoid off-topic or side bar conversations while the instructor is speaking.
Please bring a bag lunch. You will be allowed to eat in the classroom. Some venues have a refrigerator available. A half hour is built into the class time for a lunch break, which is flexible and could affect the end time of the workshop.
Cell phones should be silenced during class. If you need to make or take a call, please exit the classroom.
Visitors are very distracting to the instructor and other attendees, and should not be in the classroom.
If you know you have to leave class early, please sit in the back of the classroom.
