Monthly Meeting Schedule
This page is a quick snapshot of what is planned for our guild meetings. We typically meet at St. Paul's Lutheran Church, 8760 37th Avenue, Kenosha on the first Monday of each month, March thru December. Please check our Guild Calendar for the most accurate dates & locations. ​Guests are welcome at our meetings for a small $5 entrance fee.​
April 13, 2026 – Bill Hoernke Show and Class
Bill is a quilter and weaver. You never know what he is going to be doing next. He lets his interests guide him and you never know what will be under his needle next! He will do a show and talk about the quilts that he has made so far, and what guides and inspires him.

Class April 13 – 1 pm to 5. Triaxial Fabric Weaving
Cost: $50.
Bill has taught classes on fabric weaving at the Great Wisconsin Craft show. He will be teaching a class on weaving and the fee includes a weaving tool, a foam board with a grid for weaving, fusible and written instructions.

June 1, Wool Applique Virtual Trunk Show
With Vicki McCarty from Calico Patch Designs
Vicki will showcase many of her beautiful quilts and discuss her inspiration for creating
as well as basic techniques used in the quilt. Hear stories behind the quilts as well as
touching stories of Vicki's 40+ years quilting and tips passed on through four generations of quilting.
July 6 “From Inspector to Quilter: My Journey to Finding My Peace” with Michael Nardi.
Michael Nardi has been featured on Missouri Star Quilts and he will present his journey
from the southside of Chicago to a successful pattern designer, as well as owner/operator
of Bryn Mawr Quilts.
July 13 Curved Square Workshop with Michael Nardi at the Kenosha County Building (all day)
$75 includes pattern and templates (non-member $90). This workshop is partially underwritten by the guild.

Anderson Arts Center Quilt Show
This year’s show will be Stars, Stripes, and Stitches.
It will be at the Anderson Arts Center, 6603 3rd Ave., in Kenosha.
Drop Off Day: Fri. Aug. 7, Time TBD;
Judging Day: Sat. Aug. 8, 9 am;
Opening reception: Sun. Aug. 30, 1 – 4 pm;
Closing Day: Sun. Oct. 11, 1 – 4 pm;
Pick up day: Tue. Oct. 13, 10 am – 12 pm.
Ribbon making day is Sat. June 13 from 10 – 2 at the Northside Library.
