Monthly Meeting Schedule

This page is a quick snapshot of what is planned for our guild meetings. We typically meet at St. Paul's Lutheran Church, 8760 37th Avenue, Kenosha on the first Monday of each month, March thru December. Please check our Guild Calendar for the most accurate dates & locations. â€‹Guests are welcome at our meetings for a small $5 entrance fee.​

November 10th, 2025 Sue Heinz "You Have a Friend in Elmer"

All Day Class: Caffeinated Quilting (9:30 to approx. 4:00) Cost $35

Sue has brewed up energy-infused designs that will look stunning on your next quilt. Based on her latest book, this class will leave you filled to the brim with new grid, block, and linear designs that are easy to master, especially with Sue’s one-on-one teaching style. Come play – leave caffeinated!

(No machines needed. Cost includes class fee.)

March 2 2026 –Trunk Show by Jill Shaulis of Yellow Creek Designs

Jill is a nationally known pattern designer, fabric designer, lecturer and shop owner. She is the master mind of the very first Quilt Shop hop created almost 30 years ago. She has owned her not-so-small shop in Pearl City IL since 1992.

 

Her trunk show will consist of many of the projects she has designed and made. She weaves her quilting journey with the trunk show in a fun and energetic way. You will leave smiling and inspired

April 13, 2026 – Bill Hoernke Show and Class

Bill is a quilter and weaver. You never know what he is going to be doing next. He lets his interests guide him and you never know what will be under his needle next! He will do a show and talk about the quilts that he has made so far, and what guides and inspires him.

​

 

Class April 13 – 1 pm to 5. Triaxial Fabric Weaving

Cost: $50.

Bill has taught classes on fabric weaving at the Great Wisconsin Craft show. He will be teaching a class on weaving and the fee includes a weaving tool, a foam board with a grid for weaving, fusible and written instructions.
