Carpenter's Apprentice Workshop
Tuesday, April 9, 2024    --    9:30 am - 4:00 pm
St. Paul's Lutheran Church, 8670 37th Avenue, Kenosha

Our April speaker will be Beth Helfter of EvaPaige Quilt Designs and she will also be available to teach this workshop in conjunction with her presentation on accordion sewn half square triangles.

If you haven't tried Accordion Sewn HST's yet, it's time! It's incredibly fun and addicting. It doesn't just make cool little accordions; once you cut them apart, your quilt is halfway done! This workshop takes the Accordion Sewn HST technique and ups the ante a just bit as we sew all the HST's needed for the Carpenter's Apprentice ALMOST at once, keeping it all scrappy with no waste. Once you've learned the technique, you'll want to adapt this HST sewing method to more quilts!

The quilt as shown finishes at 40” x 40”. The pattern is included in the workshop cost and there is prep work to be done before the class. Space is limited. When Pat receives your registration fee she will send you the supply list and prep homework requirements.
