This quilt was a block of the month quilt from JoAnn Fabrics from 2008. It was machine pieced with bushes around the cottage needle turned appliqued. Once the quilt was completed, I decided that it needed something in the large open spaces, so I added vines, leaves and flowers, again using the needle turn applique technique. The quilt was finished with hand quilting.
