The pineapple motif is used to construct this quilt. Since pineapples and blue waters remind me of Hawaii, I named the quilt Blue Hawaii. This quilt is constructed using the same paper pieced block repeatedly, but using different shades of blue fabrics with the white background for each block. I laid them out graduating from light squares in one corner to dark in another. The pineapple block pattern and fabrics are from laundry basket quilts.
